Jamal Engineering Office is seeking a qualified Instrument Design Engineer with strong Design experience in Petrochemical Industries to join our team Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia.

Experience: Minimum 7+ years
Location: Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities:
As an Instrument Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Preparing instrumentation engineering designs and detailed drawings for oil, gas, and industrial projects.

Developing instrument index, I/O lists, cable schedules, and hook-up drawings.

Preparing P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Assisting in selection, sizing, and specification of instruments and control systems.

Coordinating with process, piping, and electrical teams to ensure design accuracy.

Reviewing vendor drawings and performing technical evaluations.

Supporting site teams during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
Qualifications & Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Control Engineering (or related discipline).

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in instrumentation design (preferably in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects).

Strong knowledge of ISA, IEC, NEC, and Aramco standards.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools), or similar software.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
